Leander ISD Superintendent Bret Champion announced his selection of Susan Cole as principal of Middle School #8, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2012.

LISD is currently undergoing beta testing of the new software to collect student transfer information online. Depending on the success of the testing process, we intend to open the transfer window only to students zoned for MS #8 on Feb. 22-29. We will update information here and provide a link to access the transfer site at a later date.
Mrs. Cole will be visiting students over the next few weeks and taking their suggestions for colors and mascot. The entire student body will vote on several mascot/color choices.
